Measuring sensors are not only limited in terms of attached weight, but also in terms of the moment in force. If a probe system protrudes too far in one direction, then it is necessary to adapt a counterweight on the opposite side to reduce the tipping moment. However, you must still be careful not to exceed the permissible total weight of the probe system. For VAST/VAST gold probe heads, a tipping moment maximum of 0.1 - 0.3 Nm is permitted.
